Your SEO expert will tell you to have a good link building system in place that gives you links to your website. The places that I have the best luck with are blog comment posting and forum posting. It’s very targeted. When I go to the forum, I’ll use the search tool to find a problem. Then I’ll post the solution to the problem on the forum page with a link going back to my website.
I’ll do the blog comment posting myself. I’ve tried to outsource that job and it just didn’t work out. When you’re doing your article distributing, buying links and submitting your videos I don’t need to be that involved with the process. But I try and outsource and many things as I can. I write all the content for my premium blog myself. The rest of my content is outsourced. I also outsource the design, programming and some general administrative stuff. I even try and outsource some of the stuff around my house as well.
I pay attention to the things that will give me the greatest outcome. There is a lot of work that I can leave behind, because they are really unimportant. You just have to face it that some things will bring you in money and others won’t. The first things I do are get the jobs that will bring me in money out first. I might have some things that need to be put on my website, but that is not as important as getting a product out to the public.
I put everything on a big white board. When I write something up on my board, it reminds me that I have something important to do. It’s hard for me to think about everything so that is why I write everything down. The things that I put up on my white board are jobs that have to be done right away. Then I erase them when they are finished.
When it comes to outsourcing, I have one primary outsourcer that I encouraged to grow the business underneath my level. I don’t deal with a lot of people just a few. I’m used to having a lot of people work underneath me. Those are just some of the online marketing things that I do.
