Blogging top earners

BusinessWeek run a special on their website presenting some of the blogsphere’s top earners. Many of you will be familiar with many of the blogs profiled which include BoingBoing, Shoemoney, ProBlogger, Kottke, TechCrunch and Gothamist among many others. Some of these blogs earn an earnest $5,000 per month and others are easily bringing in 6 figures every month.
I am sure that many of you are wondering if your blog that gets less than a handful of visitors per day can be as successful. Clearly from the examples in the report, it is possible to make a living (and then some) from blogging. However, just like every other job in life, not everyone who starts a blog will become filthy rich; just the same, not everyone who invests in the stock market hits the big time and not everyone who starts a business turns it into Google.
If you are an expert in a particular niche and you find the right way of presenting your expertise to the vast audience in the ever growing blogosphere, then it is possible for you to become as successful as the people profiled in Business Week. Remember, that most of all, you have to work really hard before you can hope for success; or you need to be incredibly lucky!
