Your Feedburner subscriber stats should go up overnight thanks to Google

Google is finally making available the numbers for RSS feed subscribers via Google Reader and Google Personalized Homepage. Google’s move will surely increase the number of subscribers reported by Feedburner, if you are using their service of course. This has happened to me for sites that I use Feedburner to manage the RSS feed. As an extreme example of this, look at the number of subscribers for Techcrunch. Until yesterday, Feedburner was reporting about 190,000 subscribers but as of today that number has jumped to more than 270,000.

Google’s move was welcomed by the blogging community who asked for this in the first place. You can read the official announcement on the Google Reader blog here.
