Banned from Digg? Afraid that you might be missing out on all the traffic and link baiting karma? Don’t sweat it too much because Paul Stamatiou tells us in a recent blog entry how to get back on Digg if banned.
The methods that he describes are redirection methods but not the obvious ones such as using online services of the TinyURL type. These are easy to detect and don’t actually work on Digg. Paul outlines a number of different redirection methods that currently cannot be detected by Digg. The new methods involve some clever but simple coding either at the server level using htaccess or at the client level with Javascript (JS) or a combination of PHP and JS.
You can use these tricks on a friend’s web server or apply the more costly method of buying and registering register a new domain. You should read Paul’s blog post for all the details of how to do things properly.
