Is AdBrite’s InVideo open to everyone?

Last month and more specifically around January 10th, AdBrite’s new InVideo advertising system was announced and even featured on Techcrunch. InVideo ads are an interesting concept because of how the “share” and “embed” options work. Whether a user decides to share the video with his friends or embed it in his blog, AdBrite’s Flash-based video player will drive traffic directly to the original content creator’s site. In addition, any revenue generated when the video is shown in another blog goes back to the content creator. This of course is awesome because people won’t be able to just show your videos on their blogs and make money of your sweat.

Anyways, the InVideo advertising program was closed to the public and users could sign up for an invitation to the program. However, when I logged in to check my stats, I noticed that there was now a new option available to me, namely to ad videos. I guess this either means that long time publishers have been entered into the beta testing program without the need to sign up (I never did) or that the InVideo product is now open for public beta testing. There was no info about that in the official AdBrite blog.

Here are two screenshots, one showing the Video option in the control panel,

and the other the My Videos list (in my case, there are no videos added yet,)
