Google’s AdSense team makes it official that images next to ads are bad

Webmasters have always been trying to come up with ways to increase the click-through rate (CTR) on AdSense ads. One popular method this year has been to display small images next to the ads. Many AdSense gurus have often pointed out that AdSense terms-of-service did not make it clear whether this practice was appropriate or not. The AdSense team has finally clarified the issue on their blog making it clear that showing images next to AdSense in order to confuse user into clicking the ads is not acceptable.
