The blogosphere is finally safe from PayPerPost’s evil revenue model

Michael Arrington has posted on TechCrunch an upcoming press release from PayPerPost (PPP) which will require bloggers to disclose that some of their posts are paid for. PPP has been under a lot of fire since they launched over the fact that they did not require bloggers to disclose that some of their posts were paid for by advertisers. Many people thought that since advertisers had the option of paying only for positive posts, the integrity of the blogosphere was severely blemished by PPP’s original model. PPP has finally changed its policy but not after generating lots of free publicity which could have been their goal all along.
