Blogger posting from Google Docs and Spreadsheets

I don’t know how long this has been possible, but I was updating one of my blog on Blogger and after publishing I notice a message informing me that I can now post directly from Google’s Docs and Spreadsheets application. This is rather useful because now you can write your posts in Writely and then post them directly to your blog. Once you login to your Docs and Spreadsheets account, there is a publish tab and if you setup your blog then you can post directly. Interestingly, this works with Blogger but also a number of other services including Wordpress and there is an option posting to your blog if you have your own server. Nice!
